BYD began to adjust its new car strategy in Europe

BYD began to adjust its new car strategy in Europe. Originally, its plants in Hungary and Türkiye were planned to only produce pure electric vehicles. However, as European users became increasingly interested in plug-in hybrid models, BYD began to adjust its strategy.

The BYD Seal U was already the best-selling plug-in hybrid model in Europe in March, ranking fourth in Europe throughout the first quarter. Now BYD wants to continue this advantage.

The two factories currently under construction in Europe will not only produce pure electric vehicles, but also plug-in hybrid models, helping BYD benefit from the growing plug-in hybrid demand in Europe.
