The solid state rectifier is used to convert AC power supply to DC power supply through an internal rectification circuit. According to the output waveform, the solid state rectifier can be divided into the half-wave rectifier and the full-wave rectifier. According to the controllability, the solid state rectifier can be divided into the uncontrollable rectifier, the controllable rectifier and the semi-controllable rectifier. The uncontrollable rectifier, also known as the diode rectifier, uses power diodes as the only output device, which has the advantages of low power consumption and large capacity. The controllable rectifier, also known as thyristor rectifier, contains thyristors (or silicon controlled rectifier, SCR) in their output devices, which has the advantages of high working frequency and controllable output waveform, thus it can be used to switch between full waveform, half waveform, and no waveform. Sometimes, we integrate the solid state rectifier and its peripheral circuitry into the solid state Rectifier Module to reduce the size and increase the convenience and stability. Typically, the solid state rectifier module use "vacuum + hydrogenation protection" welding technology, which makes it suitable for many fields, such as the charging system of DC power supply, the input rectifier power supply system of PWM inverter, the power supply system of DC motor excitation, the input rectifier system of switching power supply, the charging system of soft start capacitor, the electrical driving system, the inverter welding machine, etc. Of course, it is important to confirm whether the specifications meet your requirements before installing and using our solid state rectifiers and solid state rectifier modules, such as input current, input voltage, output current, and output voltage. Through this article you will learn the circuit wiring diagrams of our solid state rectifier and solid state rectifier module.

The single phase AC solid state rectifier relay combines the functions of the single phase AC solid state rectifier and the single phase AC solid state relay, in other words, it is similar to a semi-controllable rectifier packaged in a standard solid state relay. The two input terminals of the single phase AC solid state rectifier relay are connected to the signal output terminals of the control signal device. The output terminals of the single phase AC solid state rectifier relay can be divided into two groups, one of which is connected to the single phase AC power supply and the other is connected to the load. If there is no input control signal, the single phase AC solid state rectifier relay will be turned off. If there is an input control signal, the rectification circuit inside the single phase AC solid state rectifier relay will convert the AC power supply into DC power supply and supply it to the load.
The three phase AC solid state rectifier relay combines the functions of the three phase AC solid state rectifier and the three phase AC solid state relay, in other words, it is similar to a semi-controllable rectifier packaged in a standard solid state relay. The two input terminals of the three phase AC solid state rectifier relay are connected to the signal output terminals of the control signal device. The output terminals of the three phase AC solid state rectifier relay can be divided into two groups, one of which is connected to the single phase AC power supply and the other is connected to the load. If there is no input control signal, the three phase AC solid state rectifier relay will be turned off. If there is an input control signal, the rectification circuit inside the three phase AC solid state rectifier relay will convert the AC power supply into DC power supply and supply it to the load.
The full-bridge rectifier adds an additional set of power diodes on the basis of the full-wave rectifier. Since each rectifier diode in a full-wave rectifier needs to withstand twice the maximum reverse voltage of the AC power supply, there are high requirements for the voltage resistance of the diode. However, the bridge rectifier overcomes this shortcoming and improves the working efficiency and service life of the entire rectifier system. The KBPC series and QL series are single phase bridge solid state rectifiers, and the SQL series is three phase bridge solid state rectifier. The input terminals of the bridge solid state rectifier are connected to the AC power supply. The output terminals of the bridge solid state rectifier are connected to the DC load.
