Carbon Steel Flanges are made up of different carbon steel materials but they are all stronger and have high wear and tear properties which make them applicable in a variety of applications. The flanges could range in size greatly starting from ½ inches to 48 inches in outer diameter. There are flat face, raised face and ring type joint flange in this range of steel.
Carbon Steel Flanges
The CS Flange can be CNC machined, cold or hot dip galvanized, oil back painted and be made with some other types of value added services from the manufacturers. The Class 300 carbon steel slip on flanges have higher pressure containment capacities than the Class 150 carbon steel weld neck flanges. The classes indicate how much pressure the flanges can withstand.
There are pressure classes from 150 to 2500, PN6 through PN64 and more. The ASME B16.5 Carbon Steel Pipe Flanges can be applied with pipes of the same sizes. The different types of flange are used in different applications with the different purposes. The CS RTJ Flanges for example are used to fit two pipes together with the rings of the flange joint together with bolting or with welding. The carbon content of the grade of carbon steel varies but is limited to 0.35% max with other elements in limited quantities allowed as well.

What is CS Pipe Flange ?
This range of American standard carbon steel flanges are known as ANSI, ASA, and ASME flanges. These flange are widely used in petrochemical and chemical applications. Our sizes ranges from 15 to 600 Millimetre (i.e. 1/2" to 24").
